The Fortnite Impostor mode was recently released. It's meant to be an inspired mod among us. Among us game is a huge hit and a treat for gamers as social deduction game feature is now available in epic games battle royale. However, not everyone is happy with this, as a community manager from Innersloth or the creators of the indie game "Among Us" were saddened by this release. The article describes how Fortnite's latest mode is a copycat of the popular game rather than being declared a collaboration.

A game that has taken the world by storm, taking streamers to new heights and giving regular gamers high-pitched hits, it's something that's managed to stay fresh no matter how many hours have passed. After the Fortnite storyline underwent a massive change with the Fortnite Season 7 update, Fortnite brought a new set of community items to the game as well. However, the latest one doesn't sit well with both communities.
The new Fortnite v17.40 update hit the live servers recently and brought lots of new content to the battle royale. The newly introduced content that Fortnite 17.40 brings to the title includes the Wonder Woman Fortnite skin and the exciting Impostors mode which appears to be an Among Us game mode within Fortnite. "Will you keep The Bridge safe and secure...or follow in Jones' footsteps and sabotage the Imagined Order from within?" Find out your role in Fortnite Impostors,” says Epic.
However, part of the community as well as the creators of Among Us are disappointed with Epic because the new mode, although completely inspired by the old one, did not credit or decide to collaborate with another game completely. While there are a few differences and everything has been decked out in a Fortnite-themed veneer, with tasks like fixing the battle bus or preparing llama deliveries, it's still become a talking point among the players. Imposters do not kill players but teleport them to a rift.
The Fortnite and Among Us crossover was huge news for people, especially since they thought it would be a collaboration between indie developer Innersloth and Epic Games to bring it to another platform. It's a matter of time to see what happens next.
