Shinobi is the coach of Global Esports, confirms SKRossi. For a long time, Global Esports was looking for a coach for its Valorant team to participate in the Valorant APAC Last Chance Qualifiers.
After winning the VCC Grand Finals, Global Esports was looking for an international coach from the start. Until now, they had no coach and their IGL, Hellranger, did most of the strategy and execution. Now that they will face international teams, they can definitely use an extra head to help them qualify for the Valorant champions.
Josh "shinobi" Abastado is an American player who recently played for Cloud9. He is not on any active rosters at this time, so he was the perfect candidate for Global Esports in the APAC Last Chance Qualifiers.
During a recent stream, SKRossi confirms that Shinobi is their coach for the Valorant APAC Last Chance Qualifiers. Rossi also confirmed that Shinobi has already been working with them for 4.5 days now.
SKRossi also explained their working model to his audience. He said, “If we play 4 maps, Shinobi will be there with us at the beginning for discussion, then after 2 maps, then again. If we can't manage the timing, we continue the next morning”
