In a recent and disturbing event, a famous COD pro Sol was murdered by another Esports player. This news came on Monday and claimed that COD pro Ingrid Oliveria Bueno da Silva, also known as "Sol", was murdered by Guilherme Alves Costa in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
This news came out of the blue and shocked the fans of the game and the pro gamer. According to reports, 19-year-old Oliveria was in contact with Costa. The one who was known in the COD circuit as "Flashlight". They became friends online and things changed when Costa visited Oliveria at her residence.

Jagures Esports has expressed sadness over this event. Likewise, they posted a heartfelt message on their Instagram page.
After visiting Oliveria, Costa stabbed her multiple times. Moreover, he recorded the act and shared it on a WatsApp group of other players.
After being arrested, Costa showed no signs of remorse. But, he said his "good reason is entirely appropriate" and the quoted reports "wanted to do that."
He seemed to be rather enjoying the act. This makes the situation even more worrying.
The loss of the young esports player is devastating for her family and loved ones. The esports team, the Brazilian esports organization FBI, also expressed their condolences for the loss.
This incident poses risks to belonging to the gaming community. Plus, being an online personality means meeting lots of people. This further exposes the hazards of the job.
