One of the many more complicated elements of replacing Season 1 with Bond Name:Black Ops Chilly Struggle is the implementation of a leaderboard reset.
In concept, the idea is obvious:Chilly Struggle, Fashionable Warfare, and Warzone players can be synced with the same rating level. However, with some people already deeply unlocked, there are questions about what will continue after the replacement.
Your Season Level will be reset to 1, but all Class Creation unlocks will carry over and your highest Pre-Season Prestige Level will remain intact. Note that this change is applicable to Modern Warfare and Warzone in addition to Black Ops Cold War.
Perhaps most important to note:in some earlier Call of Duty games, you will NOT lose all of your unlocks each time you gain prestige.
If you reach level 200 in a season, you will also receive the Prestige Master title for that season. Your Prestige level will change color to show your Prestige Master status, and you can customize your Prestige icon with legacy Prestige icons from previous Call of Duty games you've unlocked (more details below).
The journey doesn't end there if you want to keep climbing. Once you reach Prestige Master within a season, you can level up to level 1000 each season and receive milestone rewards in 50 levels each.
In the first update of the season, four Prestige have been added, with new rewards. When you reach level 200, you can perform a prestige achievement.
