Although speculation has been circulating online for a few days now, this is the first time we've received a trailer for the Valorant line of skins, courtesy of HIITSCAN, which previously hinted at a potential leak of the same. The VALORANT Episode 3 trailer had been kicked off by the creators of the community in the form of an adorable compilation just before its release, but it wasn't until recently that we got a leak for another new skin pack. A new episode of VALORANT had made its way last month, with Episode 3:REFLECTION and new episodes mean bringing new skins with agents or maps.
Finally, we have a preview of the bundle before its release, courtesy of HIITSCAN. RIOT has designed a Sentinels of Light pack that will be released on July 21.
It includes cosmetics for Vandal, Operator, Sheriff, Ares, and a custom Relic of the Sentinel melee. The skins come in four variations:
The pack will also include a gun buddy, spray, and player card. The bundle will cost 8,700 VP or 2,175 for each weapon skin if priced based on Ruination Skin. Melee would cost 4,350 HP.
The "Sentinels of Light" in League of Legends is very similar to the concept of KAY/O against Radiants in Valorant. Similar to the conflict between Valorant Protocol and Kingdom Company, the Sentinels are in a constant struggle against the forces of darkness, which are slowly engulfing the entirety of Runeterra. Therefore, it is not surprising to have a range of cross skins from the 2 games.
Although there was a trailer from RIOT Games, the release date has yet to be announced and the developers haven't revealed anything except for the very short teaser of what could be a skin. vandal in the LOL trailer. It will be worth waiting until tomorrow to get the crossover we've been waiting for.
