Fortnite Avian Ambush Quests:Chickens in Fortnite have become kings of the ecosystem, wiping out all non-winged creatures. Challenges are always a good addition to the game for more XP. Although it is not necessary to complete them, players can get free XP and therefore other rewards.

According to the new Fortnite Blog, in Avian Ambush Week, chickens are the kings of the ecosystem. They've totally eliminated the sharks, wolves, frogs, and boars...and they're coming after you following. Not only have they become more common, but they now defend themselves when attacked.
Players can also hold one and it will peck nearby opponents! You will also notice shiny chickens called Loot Chickens. Like the crows (which the chickens spared), these chickens carry the loot.
Avian Ambush Week runs through March 15, 2022 at 8:59 a.m. ET. Once the Animal Kingdom stabilizes and the "Avian Ambush Week" quests are completed, a new theme week will begin at 9:00 AM ET on March 15! Like previous weeks, this week will bring a new batch of special quests.

Even after the ecosystem returns to balance, things won't be quite the same. Many Chickens will always repel attackers, some Loot Chickens will stay behind.
