During the filming of the film, Meryl Streep adopted a method to best play her character:to immerse herself as best as possible in the bitter character of Miranda Priestly. And to do so, she had to t isolate herself from the rest of the cast outside the film sets to completely fit into his role. But this loneliness strongly marked the actress who did not necessarily experience it well. At a cast reunion for the film's 15th anniversary by, Entertainment Weekly , the actress confided :
