The last straight line. The SVOD Netflix platform has just released the final chapter of Casa De Papel, while the robbers are in trouble!
Casa De Papel is back. After months of waiting, fans of the series can finally discover the end of the epic of the Spanish robbers.
Still led by the Professor (Alvaro Morte), the infernal band is in the Bank of Spain where the collective is stuck. As the group tries to steal 9.2 tonnes of gold , the robbers see their mission seriously complicated. Before starting the new season, a little recap of previous events!
The professor plans the best heist ever. To achieve his ends, he hires the biggest criminals in the country:Toyko, Rio, Helsinki, Moscow, Denver, Oslo and Nairobi. The plan is to infiltrate the National Currency and Stamp Factory to print 2.4 billion euros in untraceable notes in less than eleven days and without shedding a drop of blood. Unfortunately, the gang is forced to take the staff of the establishment hostage, including the daughter of the British ambassador. Despite the tensions between the members and a mission that turns into a confrontation with the police, led by Raquel Murillo, the robbers manage to print the equivalent of one billion euros.
Following the robbery of the century, the Professor receives a call:one of his members, Rio, has been arrested by Europol. The only way to save the captive is to bring the group together again in order to carry out a new, even more complex and dangerous heist:rob the National Reserve of Gold.
The plan begins with the release of 140 million euros in the streets using a dirigible balloon. At the same time, the Professor broadcasts a message on the screens of Madrid, highlighting the abuse inflicted on Rio by Europol. The army is then deployed in the city to maintain order. And that's when the robbers, disguised as soldiers, try to enter La Réserve. Law enforcement makes a radio call, intercepted by The Professor and Raquel, who joined the group after leaving the police.
Meanwhile, the robbers enter La Réserve National de l'Or and divide the hostages into two groups:one is immediately freed while the other remains captive.
Things get tough for the group of robbers:trying desperately to recover the access badges of the Governor of the bank, Palermo is injured in the eyes. Bogotá, new to the workforce, releases accomplices hidden among the hostages to break into the safe.
On the law enforcement side, Tamayo orders Alicia Sierra to transfer Rio to the capital. He also decides to confiscate their phones from the members of his team, a means by which the Professor and Raquel listen to the police.
To stop a potential attack, the team recovers confidential documents containing the worst secrets and embezzlement of the government . Forced, Tamayo cancels his offensive. It is then learned that Helsinki and Palermo had an affair and the quarrels escalate with Nairobi's confession of feelings for Helsinki.
Sierra, meanwhile, resumes negotiations and threatens Raquel to go after her mother and daughter. The Professor discovers that he is being chased and loses the antenna to communicate with the members inside the bank. The police inject a gas to put the criminals to sleep, but the robbers had planned everything and took the police hostage. They use them to negotiate the release of Rio. The latter released joins the gang in the bank.
Tensions erupt between the Professor and Raquel, particularly over the way to carry out the operations . This is when they are spotted by a drone and are forced to separate.
New to his friends, Rio has his chip and GPS injected by Sierra removed. The latter asks the media to announce the establishment of a bonus of 10 million euros for any information on the robbers. Greedy, villagers denounce Raquel. In the distance, the professor hears a detonation.
At the same time, Sierra announces to Nairobi that she is holding her son. Wanting to check through the window, Nairobi is seriously injured by a sniper. Taking advantage of this situation, Tamayo launches a new assault, but the tank launched by the colonel is destroyed by the robbers. The last scene shows us a Raquel alive . His execution was only a set-up to destabilize the mastermind of the gang:the professor.
In the final season, an injured Nairobi is nursed back to health by her companions. The tensions accumulated between the robbers lead to a coup orchestrated by Tokyo, Palermo finds itself sidelined. Meanwhile, the Professor is tracked down by the police and Marseille helps him escape the forces of order.
After a little update from Tokyo, the Professor heads to the bank to find out if Lisbon/Raquel is still alive. He pressures a police officer to send a message to Raquel, on the verge of revealing everything to the police. Things accelerate when Gandia escapes the robbers with the complicity of Palermo, kills Nairobi and takes over the group of robbers.
Injured in the back, Tokyo treats him before knocking him out. On her way to stand trial, Raquel manages to escape with the help of the Professor and Marseille. The mastermind of the group sends a false message to the police in order to send them on the wrong track. Raquel, with Marseille's help, enters the bank. The season ends as Sierra discovers the Professor's secret hideout.
While part 5 has been available since September 3, we have to wait until December 3 to know the outcome.
