Who needs a premium music service? Between Reddit and YouTube, you can get all the recommendations, playlists, and songs you need. And with the new Headphones app for Mac, now you have the perfect way to discover and create playlists with YouTube and Reddit.
Headset is divided into four tabs. A search tab allows you to search for song titles, albums, or playlists. You can also browse featured playlists by genre, decade, and top charts.
The Radio tab is basically a series of playlists powered by subreddits including /r/music, /r/Chillout, /r/50smusic, and more. The subreddits are also organized by genre, instrument, and decade.
While playing music, click the song title to open the currently playing window to save songs as you like, to go back and forward, and to view the playlist you are listening to. Hit the queue button to see the rest of the songs in each playlist.
Signing up for a free account lets you save songs and playlists to your collections, and like songs as you listen. You can also sync between devices and look forward to sharing collections and viewing your game history.
