The right choice of full-backs can be the secret to a well-rounded squad when it comes to FIFA Ultimate Team. With that in mind, we've put together a list of our predictions for who will be the best full-backs in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team you can buy.
Creating the perfect Ultimate Team is something that takes players dozens and dozens of hours over the course of a year. Swap and change constantly to find the right balance of attackers and defenders to suit each individual's style of play.
Luckily, while we're still awaiting the official odds reveal from EA, we have guides to each position outlining the best FIFA 22 has to offer. This time it's the full-backs under the microscope.
The full-back is one of the most underrated positions on the pitch at Ultimate Team. On the one hand, they can do wonders defensively by negating the threat on the wing. On the other hand, they can be a secret weapon in the future as they overlap in crossover positions.
FIFA is a game that relies heavily on pace, especially in the wide positions, which unfortunately makes some left and right backs almost unusable in the game's meta.
With that in mind, here are the best full-backs in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team that we expect to help players achieve highlights and wins:
Player name club Alphonso Davies (LB)Bayern MunichAndrew Robertson (LB)LiverpoolAlex Telles (LB)Manchester UnitedJordi Alba (LB)BarcelonaThéo Hernandez (LB)AC MilanNicolas Tagliafico (LB)AjaxTrent Alexander-Arnold (RB)LiverpoolKyle Walker (RB)Manchester CityRicardo Pereira (RB) )Leicester CityJoao Cancelo (RB)Manchester CityJesus Navas (RB)Sevilla Daniel Carvajal (RB)Real MadridIf we're being honest, high-rated full-backs that fit the meta tend to be rare, meaning those that do can be very expensive early on. That being the case, you might want to consider cheaper options to get things done when it comes to the best full-backs in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.
On the left side, Liverpool substitute Kostas Tsimikas has more than enough pace to deal with these starting squad wingers, but his hard-to-link nation will keep his price tag low. Elsewhere Layvin Kurzawa of PSG should have a solid map complete with handy chemistry links.
On the opposite side, Max Aaron is due for a boost after a solid season with newly promoted Norwich City, which could make him an excellent debut right-back. The versatile Jacques Tavernier Rangers will also start with a strong pace stat, but his value will remain low as he applies his craft in the Scottish Premiership.
