Valorant has added a new payment method for its Indian servers to purchase Valorant Points using a UPI ID after several Indian players reported that Valorant was showing a failed purchase error for many players after the new update. With many players trying to grab Valorant skins from the store using VP and the Paytm option unavailable, it was quite difficult to purchase skins or VP smoothly. The article describes the process of buying Valorant Points through the store using the latest UPI option.

Weapon skins are weapons in VALORANT that have a modified appearance. They can be bought in store with Value Points or Radianite Points. Anime and non-animated weapon collections are mostly offered in exchange for a generous amount of Valorant Points, but that wasn't a viable option for Indian players using the Paytm option some time ago due to technical issues in the game.
A lot of Indian players have already asked RIOT to provide UPI payment option in addition to the current Paytm option, since it is down most of the time, and many people are more comfortable with the faster UPI transaction process. Indian fans' long wait for Valorant is finally over, as Riot has shipped a new update to their competitive shooter that allows players to purchase Valorant Points using any in-game UPI, including including Gpay, the most commonly used transaction method.
Until now, Indians had no option to purchase Valorant Points using domestic methods and had to resort to other services like PayPal or Paytm for in-game transactions. Now, Indian players can simply click on the Valorant Points icon at the top right of the main menu next to the "Store" tab and select "UPI" to buy yourself PV.
