PUBG Mobile Pro League North America Season 2:XSet crowned champion, Ghost Gaming qualifies for PMGC 2021


The second season of PUBG Mobile Pro League North America finally ended yesterday and we got the month-long tournament champions. Top US team XSet was declared the winner while Ghost Gaming, another renowned team, qualified for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021.

PUBG Mobile Esports continues with full vigor as major tournaments roll on one after another. Before the start of the most prestigious PMGC 2021 series, all regions complete their tournament to name the regional champions, teams also qualify directly from these tournaments through the PMGC points system. The PMPL North America Season 2 Finals featured 16 professional teams battling it out for the $150,000 prize pool. Here is the general classification after the conclusion of the tournament.

Sixteen teams had qualified for the PUBG Mobile Pro League North America Season 2 Finals. The finals took place over a period of three days. The teams fought a nerve-wracking battle to keep their hopes alive for the Americas Championship which is slated to begin on November 11, 2021. The XSet team picked up 3 wins from 18 games and scored 218 points to stay top of the standings.

The Knights won the most Chicken Dinners of any team but failed to claim first place due to a six-point difference. The players were disappointed, but they were confident of coming back stronger to the Americas Championship.

US PUBG Mobile powerhouse Nova Esports held an ordinary tournament as fans expected much better from the team. Nevertheless, they were placed in the third position as the team earned 85 elimination points, which added to the total of 186 points. Team Syndicate won the first game of the final day and took fourth position with 175 points.

Ghost Gaming didn't have much luck in the tournament, however, they managed to qualify for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 set to start on November 30. All eyes are now on Season 2 of the Americas Championship, where the top 7 teams will qualify for PMGC 2021.
