Plus, to get you in the mood, you can buy a Mickey Mouse stand to give your Google Home and Nest Mini an iconic makeover.
As noted on The Keyword, Google has now integrated Disney+ support into its Google Assistant-enabled smart displays. This includes products directly from Google like the Nest Hub and Nest Hub Max, but also those from third parties like Lenovo and JBL.
The feature is available in the United States, Canada, Australia, Austria, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom . Other regions will follow in the coming months.
Previously, the only method available to watch Disney+ on a Google smart display was to stream from a mobile device.
To get started, all you need to do is link your Disney+ account in the Google Home or Assistant app. When done, simply talk to your smart display and ask it to play any Disney+ movie or show.
For example, if you want to watch the remake of Mulan on Disney+, say, "Ok Google, play Mulan on Disney+". You can also use gesture control to browse.
Unfortunately, you can't navigate using the smart display's touchscreen. It's something Netflix supports on Google's smart displays, having arrived on the platform in July.
To celebrate the new Disney+ integration, Google has teamed up with OtterBox to create a custom Mickey Mouse Basic Accessory for Google Home and Nest Mini.
