Have you heard of Groove Music yet? It's Microsoft's music streaming service that aims to compete with the likes of Spotify, Google Play Music, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and more. You may know it by its former names, Xbox Music and Zune Music.
Between now and December 31, Microsoft is running a special promotion that you can take advantage of to get four months of service at no cost. This is a $40 value!
Here's how it works:all you have to do is sign up for a free trial for the Groove Music Pass (which grants you access to the service). Within 30 days of signing up, you will receive an email containing a token that you can redeem for an additional 90 days in your account. That token must be redeemed before December 31st.
Please note that signing up for the trial requires a valid credit card and the subscription will continue for the full four months unless you manually cancel your account before the free period ends. Accounts that have used Xbox Music, Zune Music or Groove Music Pass before are not eligible for this promotion.
Groove's catalog has over 38 million tracks that can be downloaded and played offline on Windows, Sonos, Android, and iOS. Only one device can be streamed at a time, but downloads can be stored on up to 10 separate devices.
