This is a problem for many reasons. For one thing, everyone in your house probably doesn't care what you're seeing, and having a constant notification is a pain. You'll need to disable this notification on each device individually, but it's not hard to do. If there is a notification on your screen, swipe down from the top of the screen to open the notification box. Pull down on the Chromecast input with two fingers and tap on the gear on the left side. The only option here is Show remote control notifications , which you can disable.
Another way to do this, if you don't currently have a Chromecast notification, is through your Android settings. Open Settings> Google> Google Cast and you will see that the only option is also Show remote control notifications . Turn that off to stop the notification.
This could be a useful feature if you want to use a dedicated device for a Chromecast remote or if you want multiple viewers to have control of the stream. By default, however, it is annoying and intrusive.
