In 2011, a British band joined forces with a group of sound therapists to create "The Most Relaxing Tune Ever." However, since 2011, the world has become more stressed, nervous and in debt. It's about time we revisit some of those more reassuring numbers.
Since classical antiquity, when Apollo was the God of music, people have held that music has the power to penetrate the soul. That its powers extend beyond the mere ability to vibrate our eardrums. That music can actually heal our mind, body and soul.
Regardless of whether you adopt this view or not, there is no denying that music has a powerful ability to shape our environment. They are the subtle changes of chords, tempo, rhythm and harmonies.
