The highly anticipated showdown between Ierg and DrDisrespect finally happened yesterday, as expected, iFerg took a comfortable victory in the Battle Royale Kill race.
After some controversial comments from Dr Disrespect about mobile games, iFerg challenged DrDisrespect to take him on. Dr Disrespect had trolled the mobile gamer with his comments like,Are you serious, you mean my three screens, million dollar gaming setup has no use. You can play the game on mobile devices and call yourself a player.
Ferg responded to an open challenge to Dr Disrespect, "Let's fight in Call of Duty, you're playing on your million dollar PC and I'll be playing on mobile." I want to put US$100,000 as a challenge if you could win this.
This is how it all started and how this Call of Duty Mobile event happened.
Although that's not nearly fair considering iFerg is a Call of Duty Mobile pro and DrDisrespect may not have played the game before. As everyone expected, DrDisrespect even had a hard time understanding the game. "Shooting to the skies" is what it was according to the casters. On the other hand, Ferg was playing on a high level lobby while Doc might have a bot lobby for himself.
However, at the end of days, the number is all that matters. iFerg dominated with a total of 84 kills. He got 37 kills in the mobile round and he got 47 kills in the keyboard and mouse round. On the other hand, Doc also gave a good competition and collected 49 eliminations in total. He scored 23 and 26 kills in the first and second rounds respectively.
The match took place Monday at 11:00 a.m. PT and was streamed on the Call of Duty:Mobile Esports Channel.
