nitr0 has been on the Valorant 100 Thieves roster since almost the start of the team. After the recent losses and disappointing performance of 100 Thieves, nitr0 might return to CS:GO.
Nicholas "nitr0" Cannella (born August 16, 1995) is an American gamer who currently plays for 100 Thieves. He is a former professional Counter-Strike:Global Offensive player who was best known for his time in Team Liquid.
nitr0 joined the 100 Thieves Valorant roster on August 14, 2020, as he was also a featured player in 100T and IGL last quarter. 100 Thieves managed to win the First Strike North America. After that, everything started to go downhill for the Valorant 100 Thieves list. From the best team in the region, they went to the 3rd-4th team in North America.
Their VCT journey started quite weakly as they finished the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021:North America Stage 1 Masters in 5th-6th place. After the addition of Ethan "Ethan" Arnold, they fired at each other a bit but never saw the success they had earlier in the year.
One of the best teams in North America 100 Thieves, couldn't even make it to the very first Valorant International LAN Masters Stage 2. Although they managed to qualify for Stage 3 Masters Berlin, they lost to Team Envy and finished the tournament in 3rd-4th place.
The defeat in the Stage 3 Masters led to the addition of b0i instead of steel. 100 Thieves played the North America Last Chance Qualifier with b0i on their team, but they lost to Cloud9 Blue and that ended their Valorant journey of 2021.
According to sources, nitr0 is planning to return to CS:GO and it's no surprise that he has plenty of offers for that. One of the options for nitr0 is to join his former team, Team Liquid back.
If nitr0 leaves the Valorant 100 Thieves roster, 100 Thieves should potentially build a team around Spencer "Hiko" Martin, Ethan Arnold, and Peter "Asuna" Mazuryk.
