PUBG Mobile Rivals Cup:BC Swell Wins Tournament to Qualify for PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021

PUBG Mobile Rivals Cup is the first inter-country tournament of PUBG Mobile organized by Tencent between the teams of Japan and Korea. Even after being a short tournament, the pro teams worked hard as it was the last chance for Japanese and Korean PUBG teams to qualify for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021.

The PUBG Mobile Rivals Cup featured a total of 16 teams that placed 2nd to 9th in PUBG Mobile Japan League Season 1 and PUBG Mobile Pro Series Korea. After the conclusion of this tournament, Tencent decided to give the Koreans and the Japanese another chance. The winners of these tournaments, REJECT and Hidden secured a spot at PMGC 2021, however, it was recently announced that Hidden has been disqualified and Warrior Esports will take the spot.

Now let's see the overall ranking of the two-day tournament of PUBG Mobile.

The Japanese team BC Swell made a remarkable gesture in the last game of the final by managing to steal the championship title from RedPepper by eliminating their last player. The latter team was quite disappointed as they missed out on first place by just one point. In third place was Team Square with two Chicken Dinners that took a total of 42 kills and scored 102 points.

However, their last few games turned terrible, which led to a drop in their points total. DS Gaming was also confident of reaching the top given its amazing performance at the start.
