The culminating tournament of PUBG Battlegrounds, the PUBG Global Championship 2021 is finally over. Officials had reverted to the previous points rule at this tournament where a total of thirty-two teams were seen in action.
With a massive $2,000,000 prize pool, the PUBG Global Championship 2021, month-long tournament was held in three stages, namely Rank Decision Matches, Weekly Survival Matches, and Grand Finals. A total of sixteen teams were able to qualify for the Grand Finals after surviving the weekly Survival Matches. NewHappy, who was declared the winner, walked away with a huge cash prize of $1,378,264. Second and third place went to Heroic and Virtus.Pro who took home $666,209 and $344,591 in cash respectively.
The first match of the final day of the grand final was won by TSM with 11 finishes. Heroes who were eliminated in second position took 17 finishes, the highest in the game. Ghibli Esports claimed the third position after accumulating 9 points.

The 12th match of the PUBG Global Championship 2021 Grand Finals was won by the champions, New Happy, after earning an astonishing 18 results. This match was a game-changer for the team as it helped them get the win in the end. Danawa Esports finished the match with 6 kills.
The 13th and 14th Match of the last day were won by Virtus Pro and KaiXin Gaming. The teams earned 13 and 14 finishes respectively to secure their impressive chicken dinners. NewHappy also played well in Game 13 to increase their ranking points as they had a tough competition with Heroics.
The chicken dinner at the last game of PUBG Global Championship 2021 was won by ENCE although the team could only get 6 finishes.
