According to prominent YouTuber BGMI/PUBG, it has been revealed that PUBG Mobile 1.8 update will be released on 12 e January 2022. The update will start rolling out to Android and iOS devices at 7:30 AM IST. However, it is also important to note that Tencent has yet to release the patch notes for the new update, where they usually release them before the latest version arrives.
PUBG Mobile had announced a collaboration with a recently released sci-fi movie, Spiderman No Way Home. This collaboration will bring a Spiderman-themed game mode where players can play the swing feature of the popular fictional character, Spiderman. Players can fight with robots and gain Spiderman powers if they land on Mylta's power.
One of the best features of PUBG Mobile 1.8 update is the new gameplay mechanic where players who are knocked down in water can be revived while swimming through water. Players who were knocked out in water earlier died instantly, but the new feature will definitely help players.
A brand new TDM (Team Deathmatch) map named Santorini will be coming to the game once the 1.8 update rolls out. A total of sixteen players (8 versus 8) will be able to play in this new TDM map. The map is designed the same way the buildings and streets of Rome are designed.
The long-awaited crossover of the popular anime-manga series Jujutsu Kaisen will be seen in the PUBG Mobile 1.8 update. Players will be able to see the 4 main characters – Itadori Yuji, Fushiguro Megumi, Gojo Satoru and Kugisaki Nobara from the anime series in a special game mode.
Another game mode that players can enjoy will be the Aftermath mode which can only be played on the Livik map. Players can see animations regarding volcanic eruptions once they enter Aftermath mode. This mode will introduce new gun mechanics.
