Tencent, the developer of PUBG Mobile brings a new update to their game every two months. Since update 1.8 was released worldwide on January 16, 2022, bringing Spider Man to the battlegrounds, PUBG Mobile update 1.9 could be seen around the same time in the month of March.
If the update is delayed for a few days, it may be released on March 20 or the end of March week. Usually, the update starts rolling out from UTC+0, but it may vary by region. Watching the beta gameplay, we also discovered the features of PUBG Mobile 1.9 update.

The new update will bring a modified version of Cheer Park which is a great place to virtually interact with other PUBG Mobile players and challenge them in mini-games. Cheer Park 2.0 will be based on the 4th anniversary theme and the Cheer Park will be expanded with a new shooting area.
Players will now be able to play 4v4 TDM in a specific area of Livik or Erangel. Custom drops designed according to the Anniversary theme will also be provided in this new mode. Players can access this mode in unranked matches.
PUBG Mobile Update 1.9 will bring the 4th Anniversary rewards to players which makes this update more exciting. It could also feature huge crossovers, but we have to wait for further announcements.
