PUBG Mobile 1.6 update is knocking on the door with a new mode titled Flora Menace which will bring starships to the Erangel map, the Vikendi map will also return in the next update.
PUBG Mobile developers usually release a beta version before launching the official version. The 1.6 beta version gave a rough idea of the new content that awaits players. The creators also held an event asking gamers for their favorite modes that they would like to see make a comeback in the game. The recent PUBG Mobile 1.6 update teaser has also created a big hype among gamers and they are waiting with can't wait to know the release date of the next update.
PUBG Mobile maintainers have previously released lots of teasers and also shared the patch notes for update 1.6. Recently, the release date was announced on PUBG Mobile discord server –
"Prepare yourselves, it is almost time for the resistance! Our version 1.6 update will be released on 14 September 2021 05:30. The Yarilo will be landing in Erangel shortly."
With the 1.6 update, players will also see the second season of cycle 1 and RPM3 (Royal Pass Month 3) which according to leaks will be based around food-themed outfits. The time for other regions has been mentioned below:
Update 1.6 will also be available in Battlegrounds Mobile India, the new Indian branding of PUBG Mobile. BGMI players might also see the update shortly as BGMI C1S2 is expected to start from September 17, 2021.

Flora Threat- The new cell matrix mode which will change the ignition mode of the mission with mysterious plants and spaceships. It will also add new locations where players will fight with zombies. Cell matrix mode will be available in all maps according to the latest leaks.
Vikendi 2.0 – Vikendi is a snow-themed map that was removed when Karakin was added in the 1.4 update. A revamped version of Vikendi will be available in the 1.6 update which added several features to the map such as train lines and changes to different locations such as Dino Park. Vikendi will replace the Karakin card.
Payload 2.0 – The payload mode will also be back with interesting features for players. Additionally, players can enjoy Runic Mode and Infection Mode in the EvoGround section. These modes were available in previous PUBG Mobile updates. As these modes are available in EvoGround, the modes will not be ranked.
