VALORANT Executive Producer Anna Donlon confirmed today via a Dev Diaries post that a new agent will be added to the game for the start of Episode Four, Act Three.
Donlon explained that Riot Games' VALORANT development team will be "strengthening the foundation" of the game during Act Two, which will begin after Act One concludes on February 28.
During the second act of episode four, there will be no new agents or maps, with the team primarily focusing on improving the overall health of the game via balance updates. agents, maps, player behavior tools, and ranked experience.
Given the typical length of the act of two months, players should expect this new agent around the start of May. No public information has yet been made available regarding the abilities or role of this new agent, who would be the 19 e added to the game and the ninth since its beta.
The new agent has the best chance of being a controller.
