While the fourth installment of Les Tuches will not be released until December 8, a sequel is already in the cards according to the director of the film.
A true cult phenomenon, the Tuche by Jean-Paul Rouve return to the big screen in early December for episode 4 of the famous Northern family. Ten years after the first film, this saga continues to be a hit. Director Olivier Baroux hopes to unveil a sequel to his work, but not under any conditions.
As revealed by journalist Claire Fleury for BFM , Olivier Baroux, the director of Tuche intends to perpetuate the success of the saga of Tuche , whose fourth installment is due out on December 8. This new film about the famous family will tell the adventures of Jeff Tuche, who after leaving his post as President of the Republic, decides to return to his town of Bouzolles.
For this hypothetical fifth episode, the bases are already laid:"We came up with an idea a month ago, an idea that we like, which is crazy, completely crazy. We asked everyone team if the desire was there, we told the story to the actors, they said 'OK we y v a '". A shooting date even seems to have already been formalized. The "Tuche 5 ", could be filmed in the spring of 2023. The date of February 2024 has been advanced for a possible release.

But having the fifth episode of Tuche at the cinema is not guaranteed. To see Isabelle Nanty and Co again, this fourth film must be a hit in the cinema. If it turns out to be a failure, which is a possibility because cinemas are no longer successful due to the pandemic, the family's adventures would come to an end.
