PUBG Mobile 1.6 Update Patch Notes:Flora Menace, New Social Features and More

PUBG Mobile developers have recently rolled out the patch notes for PUBG Mobile 1.6 update which is expected to be released on September 14, 2021. The new update is going to bring back various modes that were part of previous PUBG updates Mobile.

The makers had released several teasers about the 1.6 update where they mainly focused on the Flora Menace mode, as it is the main attraction of the 1.6 update. A community event was also held where officials asked players to share their favorite modes that they would like to see make a return to the game. The wait is finally over for players as players can get a glimpse of the features of PUBG Mobile 1.6 update.

PUBG Mobile 1.6 Update:Update Size and Rewards

Update 1.6 requires 690MB of storage space on Android devices. Players can download the update from Google Play Store. For iOS devices, the update requires 1.68 GB of space.

Players who update their game between September 14 and September 19 will receive the following rewards:

• 2888 BP
• 100 APG
• Justice Defender Backpack (Time Limited)

PUBG Mobile 1.6 Update Patch Notes

Flora Threat

In Flora Menace mode, mysterious plants named Yarilo will be added to different maps such as Erangel, Livik, and Sanhok. Yarilo will provide a rejuvenation barrier where players' HP will automatically increase. Players can also battle with robots by riding the launch pad and boarding the Cell Matrix spaceship. Dynahex Store will be available in the mode where players can purchase supplies with Nacore chips.

Return of modes/maps

Various modes are returning in Update 1.6 with some changes. The old Vikendi map also returns with the name Vikendi 2.0

The following modes will see a return:

• Royal Metro
• Titans:Last Stand
• Survive until dawn
• Payload 2.0
• Mode of infection
• Rune Power
• VS AI

New social features

• The Highlight feature will allow players to share their amazing games
• Share your career results in chats as well as on external platforms
• Invite players from the same region, chat with them and check their statuses

Experience Improvements

• Playoffs will be added to the PUBG Mobile All–Talent Championship.
• New weekly match rankings have also been introduced.
• Cycle 1 of Season 2 will provide better player rewards as well as improved emote performance. It starts on September 17, 2021 and will be available until November 18, 2021
