It seems that hackers have had a firm grip on PUBG Mobile as the official PUBG Mobile Esports youtube channel has been hacked again even after officials took strict measures to avoid this incident.
PUBG Mobile is one of the most sought after mobile battle royale titles. The game has more than millions of users worldwide. However, with a daily active user base, hacking incidents have become a common occurrence in PUBG Mobile these days. Officials make efforts to root out cheaters and hackers from the game, but time and time again it has fallen victim to hackers.
It has been barely a week since this channel was hacked and renamed to SpaceX 2021. The official PUBG Mobile Esports youtube channel which had over 3 million subscribers has again been hacked and renamed to brand account. Although officials have restored the previous name, the account has yet to be fully recovered.

Similar to the previous incident, the channel was hacked when PUBG Mobile, one of the most acclaimed tournament, P0UBG Mobile Pro League SA Season 4 was broadcast live. When the channel was hacked earlier, the hacker added a cryptocurrency video, but this time no such video was added.
The channel’s homepage also remained intact. However, few changes caught our attention. Some of the videos released earlier showed "No Views" and "aired Jan 19, 2018", even though the game aired a few days ago. Even though the name has been restored, some videos like PMPL Brasil Season 2 remain unavailable and the start date is also missing.
Most tournaments of PUBG Mobile, especially regional leagues, are able to garner 10K-20K views, however, the repeated hacking incident has had a severe impact on the tournament viewership. Recurring incidents of hacking have left players as well as fans in a state of disappointment.
In order to counter the hackers, Tencent had introduced the anti-cjeat system in PUBG Mobile under the pan ban program. Under this program, a routine check is carried out in the game to catch pirates and permanently ban them from the game, but even after these measures, some pirates escape and the officials remain on their guard.
