2. Call of Duty 2

Call of Duty 2 was considered a landmark title and it was the first game in the Call of Duty franchise to be released on the Xbox 360.

The game also comes with some of the new and exciting features including a revamped graphics system, grenade indicators, new maps, and players generating health again. Like the original game, this game also features single and multiplayer modes.

3. Call of Duty 3

Call of Duty 3 was the first game produced by Treyarch Studios. Moreover, it is also the First be available on the Nintendo Wii and PS3 . Unfortunately, it was also the last title available on the original Xbox.

A much needed addition to the game was the ability to throw grenades back at the opponent. The single-player mode allowed users to access 14 campaign modes and select up to three soldiers as characters.

The multiplayer mode offers six modes and six characters to choose from.

4. Call of Duty 4:Modern Warfare

5. Call of Duty:A World at War

In the game, players will return to the action of World War II with the campaigns focusing on the Eastern Front.

There are some major changes in World at War that set up a great platform for an amazing experience. Audio and visual effects have been improved and the content seems to be better than in previous games.

6. Call of Duty:Modern Warfare 2

7. Call of Duty:Black Ops

In the 7th title in the Call of Duty franchise, the story gets gripping as players are inside a CIA agent during the 1960s Cold War.

At first, the game was developed for Nintendo Wii, Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360, but in September 2012, N-Space and Aspyr developed versions for Nintendo DS and OS X respectively.

The game has also made some improvements over previous versions. Most important was the introduction of interactive characters who can talk during gameplay. Call of Duty Points where players could purchase new guns and customize their characters were also featured in-game.
