Tencent's PUBG Mobile is one of the leading battle royale games in the world. It generated the highest overall revenue for two consecutive months i.e. July and August, beating rival Garena Free Fire and other popular games such as Genshin Impact.
PUBG Mobile access is restricted in several countries. Nevertheless, the popularity of the game has not ceased, the developers continue to impress players with fresh and unique content for the game with new updates. Moreover, the eSports sector of PUBG Mobile has grown at such a pace that the game has been added to the official medal event of the 19th Asian Games which is to start from September 2022.
Despite its great achievements, many gamers avoid this game due to the frequent in-game hackers which tend to disturb the legit atmosphere of the game.
Probably, the best addition to PUBG Mobile was the ban program which detects hackers in the game and bans those accounts from accessing the game. The anti-cheat system was announced to significantly reduce the number of hackers in the game .
Officials publish a weekly report regarding the number of banned accounts, also detailing the reason that led to their banning. Just like other weeks, officials released a weekly report that it banned over 800,000 accounts from September 3, 2021 to September 9, 2021.
Changing the character model was the main reason behind this week's accounts being banned. This week's ban has seen a substantial decrease from the previous week's ban which was around 1,418,839. This obviously shows that the anti-cheat system has been successful.
