PUBG Mobile is by far Krafton's most successful venture as it generated the highest revenue in the month of July, beating other equally popular games such as Garena Free Fire and Genshin Impact. Since its launch, it has received an overwhelming response from gamers around the world.
PUBG Mobile has been able to give a boost to the eSports ecosystem as many countries have supported the battle-royal title and hosted tournaments both nationally and internationally. These tournaments receive huge popularity, however, players often complain about in-game hackers ruining the legit atmosphere of the game. accounts that are banned for various reasons.
The anti-cheat system introduced as part of the pan ban program keeps track of players who use unfair means to gain an advantage over real players. This has created an obstacle to the free and fair atmosphere of the game. Just like other weeks, officials released a weekly report that it banned more than 1,026,448 accounts from August 27 to September 2.
Just like the previous week, the main reason accounts were banned was for using character modification through third-party apps, Tencent strictly prohibits the use of third-party sources in-game. This week's ban has experienced a slight decrease from the previous week's ban which was 1,418,839.

Most of the banned players belonged to the Bronze level, which is the lowest level that used various hacks to increase their rank. Banned players belonging to the Diamond and Crown levels have also increased.
As we can see, the main reason why the accounts got banned was because of changing the character model.
