PUBG Mobile is a game that needs no introduction. Despite being banned in several countries, its popularity does not seem to be waning. Instead, it creates new stages every year. Recently, PUBG Mobile became the highest grossing game in the month of July 2021, beating other popular games such as Garena Free Fire &Genshin Impact.
However, the game is also notorious for its abundance of hackers and exploiters who resort to unfair means to effortlessly win matches. This has become a source of concern for developers who have forced them to introduce an anti-cheat system that identifies hackers and bans their account to ensure an authentic and viable gaming platform for everyone. The ban pan program even performs a safety inspection before a game starts.
PUBG Mobile officials make sure to let other players know the number as well as the reasons why the accounts got banned.
PUBG Mobile officials release a weekly report every month as part of the banning program to inform other players about the number of banned accounts and the main reason for their ban. As usual, officials today launched a weekly report on their social media accounts. From August 6 to August 12, the anti-cheat system banned about 1,197,429 accounts for using in-game hacks.
Character modification and auto-aim hacks were the main reasons for this week's ban. This week's ban saw a slight increase from the previous week's ban which was around 1,080,773 accounts.
