PUBG is considered the epitome of battle royale games due to its vast and unique features. Now another great news has arrived for PUBG lovers as Krafton has announced the next phase of alpha testing for PUBG New State and registrations are expected to start from today i.e. August 9th 2021.
PUBG New State can be considered as an advanced version of Player's Unknown Battlegrounds where players can experience the Battle Royale game in the future of the year 2051 with futuristic weapons, vehicles as well as a new map named 'Troi'. Players will be forced to adopt new survival tactics as the graphics in PUBG New State will exceed mobile gaming standards as the makers have described the game as “beyond battle royale”.
Krafton previously conducted a closed alpha test limited to a limited audience, specifically for players residing in the United States region. It had also opened pre-registrations for Android devices on February 25, 2021 and after surpassing 20 million pre-registrations, pre-registrations for iOS devices are expected to begin this month.
In order to bring the game to a wider audience, Krafton announced the second phase of alpha testing for players residing in Asia, Turkey, and MENA regions. Players will be able to apply for PUBG New State alpha test registration from August 9, 2021, registrations are expected to continue until August 23, 2021. The game is expected to release in October this year. The CEO and Founder of Krafton Studios has shared a video in their official Twitter account giving us the gameplay details of PUBG New State. Players will be able to experience a new vehicle named Volta and an all-new electric speedster with a fast electric drivetrain and a stealthy engine.
Another vehicle that will be available to players on the new ‘Troi’ map is a two-wheeler named Vulture . The two-wheeler is a slow throttle, but once you activate the boost, you blast your way through town. The Vulture has a higher maximum speed than the conventional motorcycle, but the momentum depends on the boost. Another nice addition is the Dyneema Vest which is lightweight and provides greater mobility for players, but is more vulnerable to 7.62 and 12-gauge ammo.
The application process for the second alpha test has started and players can apply for the test by visiting the PUBG New State official website. The alpha test will be available for Android and iOS players. However, before signing up, players should keep their device requirements in mind.
