Much to the delight of gamers, Krafton has announced the first eSports tournament for its futuristic battle royale game, PUBG New State. The tournament has been named New State Mobile Open Challenge and is restricted to Korean players only.
Esports has become a globally recognized phenomenon these days as eSports organizations can organize tournaments with huge prize pools. Krafton's PUBG New State was released in November 2021, where officials described discussing different ways to popularize the game's eSports storyline. Today, the South Korean game developer announced New State Mobile Open.

The delightful announcement of the New State Mobile Open Challenge came through the game's social media handles. It is open to all tournaments, however, players should note that the tournament is restricted to the South Korean region only. The tournament prize pool has been kept at $250,000 and is expected to start from February 5.
South Korean players can register for the tournament here. The tournament will also be streamed live on the official PUBG New State YouTube channel from February 15. However, he has not been informed when the tournament will be broadcast live. In the meantime, players can check out the schedule below:
Registrations will close on February 2 and only players holding Gold I rank in Season 1 are eligible for the tournament. The PUBG New State Tournament will be played exclusively on BR:Extreme Mode. It's a hardcore game mode where 64 players land together in a smaller area of Troi. Players will land with a P1911 handgun, smoke grenade, fully charged boost meters, and 300 drone credits.
