PUBG Mobile has the record of tasting success more than any other game. Be it popularity or revenue generation, Tencent's battle royale game is always at the forefront. According to the latest reports, it has been revealed that PUBG Mobile has surpassed 7 billion in lifetime revenue.
Although PUBG Mobile failed to win the Esports Mobile Game of the Year award, the Battle Royale game certainly tops the charts in terms of overall revenue generated. It has beaten other games such as Free Fire for two consecutive years as player spending in the game has increased significantly over the past few months. Now another good news has arrived for PUBG fans as the game has apparently recorded the second highest lifetime earnings.
According to a recent report by Sensor Tower, Tencent's PUBG Mobile generated 2.6 billion in revenue in Q3 (July-September) 2021. The revenue generated was accumulated from all versions of PUBG Mobile in different countries. In terms of lifetime revenue, PUBG Mobile has generated a whopping $7 billion in revenue across Google Play Store and App Store platforms.

Although the first and second quarters of revenue generation were minimal, the game made a comeback as the third quarter of the year 2021 saw the highest player spending in PUBG Mobile as the revenue generated was 771 million of dollars. The exciting collaborations and unique content brought with the updates have largely helped the game outperform other games in player spending.
Around 57% of global player spending comes from China, where the localized version of PUBG Mobile (Game For Peace) is a huge hit. The United States is the second largest market for player spending. PUBG Mobile has been able to fetch $8.1 million per day on average so far in 2021. It ranks second in terms of the highest-grossing mobile game of 2021, with the top spot taken by another game from Tencent , Honor of Kings.
Even after the arrival and huge popularity of Krafton's PUBG:New State and Battlegrounds Mobile India, the PUBG Mobile market continues to grow by setting records every month. As PUBG:New State was released recently and has already racked up $2.6 million, it will be interesting to see if this game will top PUBG Mobile in the near future.
