Valorant is Riot Games' take on the tactical first-person shooter genre. Valorant seemingly exceeds all expectations while providing its audience with new material to get excited about, every day. Earlier today, we received a new voice line for the future agent, Neon, the new Duelist in Valorant.
We knew from the start that the agent would take care of the electricity. The well-done teaser is the closest to perfection and shows the agent in a clip full of broken abilities and a jaw-dropping ultimate.
Agent Neon is more likely to counter Jett in almost any gameplay type and is suited for aggressive gameplay like most Duelists want. All of her abilities are based on sparks, i.e. electricity, and make her faster than lighting in most cases. His signature ability could make up for speed.
We don't have all the details on Neon's abilities just yet, but the trailer gives us our first look at it in action. Depending on the gameplay, his abilities could be as follows:
Her ability to both sprint and slide makes her the best agent to counter Jett's fast movement. Additionally, she may even have shooting accuracy while sliding. Another ability of her could be to concuss enemies, as a clip shows her using it on Omen, and ultimately taking him down.
Finally, his ultimate, as probably finally demonstrated after Sage revived him, appears to be overpowered and nearly broken. It's similar to Jett's Knives in that she doesn't need a gun to kill enemies and can just use her hands to take them out. During this time, she also gains faster movement and may also be less prone to damage.
Valorant is surely planning to enter Episode 3 of Act 4, Disruption with a banger as the new agent seems to be really broken with his abilities and ultimate. While we still have more official sources of information for the actual abilities to look forward to, the trailer speaks for itself and the broken Neon gameplay it will bring.
