SOCIAL

ESPORTS FEATURES

  • Fixed a bug where the observer minimap zoom setting was not working.

  • Fixed a bug where trainers could not use hotkeys to spectate a player inside a deployed utility.
  • Fixed a bug where pressing Shift plus a player number would not go to the correct cinematic camera for that player, if that player was actively spectated.

COMPETITIVE 5-STACK QUEUE

Valorant has removed all ranked restrictions from 5-stack games in the competitive queue to reduce surfing. Some rules have been implemented to take them into account in the queue.

Diamond 2 and below:

  • Players can expect increased queuing times as RIOT will only match their team to 5 other stacks of similar average MMR.

Diamond 3 and above:

  • Expected queuing times can vary widely and could increase significantly for another similar 5 MMR stack to play against.

Radiant:

  • Players will wait indefinitely for another 5 stacks of similar MMRs to play against, potentially increasing wait times dramatically.
