Setting up Guest mode comes in two parts:enabling the feature and let guests join .
To set up the feature, your phone and your Chromecast must be on the same Wi-Fi network. When you've verified that this is the case, open the Google Home app and touch the Devices icon in the upper right corner.
Locate the name of the Chromecast you want to share and tap the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of the dongle card.
Lastly, tap on Guest mode and slide the switch to the On position. Be sure to write the PIN the app gives you.
In order for your guests to play music through your Chromecast, they just need to open a Chromecast-enabled device and tap Cast button. They don't you need to be on the same Wi-Fi network.
To complete the connection process, the Chromecast will ask for the PIN Number before it starts playing your music.
