Supernatural season 15 is ready to release

Filming for the last two episodes of the American dark fantasy series Supernatural season 15 wrapped in July and the show will continue on The CW from October 8

The final seven episodes of Supernatural's fifteenth and final season will return in October of this year. Originally, the show was supposed to hit small screens earlier this year, but the pandemic caused a delay. The first five episodes of the final run were filmed ahead of the global shutdowns caused by the coronavirus. In March this year, closures and lockdowns limited the global routine. That's when the fandom started predicting different outcomes for the latest edition of the WB show.

The show that had successfully defeated vampires and demons was incapable of dealing with the real-life pandemic. Production of the final season was halted in March. At that time, things were quite uncertain. But recently, co-showrunner and executive producer/director – Robert Singer – announced that the final two episodes were filmed in July when BC eased closures. The successful management in this part of the world against the pandemic has proven to be an icebreaker.

Now, the WB show is set to premiere in October on the CW, and the show's finale will arrive on Thursday, November 19. The show's final season was cut short in March after only 13 out of 20 episodes aired. The 13 episodes aired suffered a big delay and it was hard to wait that long to watch their favorite show on the CW.

What are the CW and WB saying?

The stoppage of the last round of the season was unexpected and unplanned. After the airing of the 13 episodes, the show was delayed and there were less news and confirmations regarding the resumption of the show. It has been announced by the CW and WB that the series will get the ending it deserves. The creators said, "[we are] fully intending to come back and finish the series." Executive producer Andrew Dabb assured fans of the show's future saying "it's all about 'when'." So, early on, it was confirmed that the show would resume and the finale would air, but the exact date was missing. The final seven episodes of Supernatural season 15 are slated to land on The CW on October 8.

What are the future prospects?

There is good news for Jared Padalecki fans. After finishing the show, he'll be joining Reboot of Walker, Texas Ranger - the CW show is slated to air in January 2021. Not only that, but the Amazon boys will be accepting Jensen Ackles into the cast. So, after the show's final season finale, there will be more to look forward to from the show's main cast.

With all that, all you have to do is watch on the CW. Swamp Thing premieres on The CW on October 6. The international show Devil, featuring Grey's Anatomy vet Patrick Dempsey, lands Wednesday, October 7.

Will the changes to Season 15 change the plot, character, or mythology?

The showrunner says the changes made to Supernatural season 15 haven't affected the show's character, plot, or mythology. The show's final season will continue in October after being put on hiatus in March due to the coronavirus pandemic. The final two episodes of the season were filmed in July instead of March and they had to be edited as revealed by Ackles. This has made fans curious as to what this change will affect the plot and character of the series. However, co-showrunner Andrew Dabb assured fans that the change would not affect the storyline. The showrunner said nothing was "fundamentally different" in the later episodes.
