Fans of the teen comedy series have something to be happy about. More than six months after Netflix announced the start of filming for Season 2 of My First Times (Never Have I Ever in VO), we now know its release date... and it's coming soon! When the series landed on Netflix in April 2020, My First Times remained number 1 in trends on the streaming platform for several weeks. The new comedy series from Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher had even preceded the action film Tyler Rake, the historical series The Last Kingdom or the hit series Outer Banks. What will happen in this new season? Who will be in the cast? We tell you everything.
If you have completed all ten episodes of the first season from My First Times at the time of their release, we don't blame you for having forgotten the end a little... Fortunately, we are here to refresh your memory! (Warning, spoilers!)
The series My first times tells us the story of Devi Vishwakumar (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan). This Indo-European teenager has been in mourning since the death of her father following a heart attack. After this drama, Devi wishes at all costs to go from the status of a loser in her high school to that of a popular one. And of course, his comrades do not make it easy for him. The first season of My First Times ends on a cliffhanger. During the last episode, Devi tries by all means to sleep with Paxton Hall-Yoshida (Darren Barnet), the sexiest student in high school. Against all odds, she finally kisses Ben Gross, the only student who can match Devi's intelligence.
Season 2 should greatly develop the relationships between these three protagonists. The trailer and teasers have not yet been released, so very little information is circulating at the moment about the other plots. But, as you will see, we should know more starting this week!
The fans of the series were delighted to learn in July 2020 that Devi would return for a season 2. The announcement has them all the more because it came from the actors of the series. They indeed shared the news in a funny video that they posted on social networks:
But if the announcement of a season 2 was something to delight, we still had to wait for the date… We could also fear that the series would join the long list of films and series canceled or postponed due to the health crisis. It is not.
Netflix treats us with several good news! We finally learned four days ago, thanks to a post shared on Netflix France's Instagram account, the release date of season 2. It will be released on July 15.
More than four tiny weeks, therefore, before knowing what becomes of the love triangle formed by Devi, Ben and Paxton. We imagine that Maitreyi Ramakrishnan is very happy. Asked about the future of the series, the main actress said in an interview:

The event will be broadcast live on social networks, this Thursday, June 17. On the program, a question and answer session (Q&A), games, and above all, the sharing of several teasers .
