If you have never read a Miéville novel, you are in for a surprise; It's some of the most unique, addictive, and downright bizarre writing you'll read (his New Crobuzon trilogy got me hooked on modern music). "strange" fiction). The Last Days of New Paris takes you to an alternate version of Paris in 1950, where World War II had a very different ending.
The book describes the city as a “hallucinogenic new Paris, where the Nazis and the resistance are locked in endless conflict, and the streets are haunted by living images and text, and by the forces of hell.” Staying true to its form, Miéville's newest novel promises to blend real and fictional characters in a way you've never read before. It may not always be easy to read, but there is nothing quite like it.

Continuing the theme of fantasy sequels, Lukyanenko's Sixth Watch it comes out this month, and, as you may have guessed from the title, it's the sixth book in this series. It might seem like too much to commit to reading a huge series of translated novels, but Night Vision The books are absolutely phenomenal and will not only appeal to fans of urban fantasy, but will also appeal to new readers. (If you have seen the Night Vision movies, don't judge the books based on them!)
The Night Vision the world centers on the Others, a group of vampires, warlocks, werewolves, and other magical misfits who live in the Twilight, a world behind the world that normal people can't see. But the events that take place there have repercussions for everyone, and the sense of urgency developed throughout each three-part novel will keep you from putting the book down. The way Lukyanenko ties each of the three parts together in each epic ending is absolutely masterful. It's a big commitment, but once you start reading these books you won't regret it.
