Season 4 of The Good Doctor, the latest, ended on ABC last June. If the last episode was particularly rich in emotion, most of the doctors in the series were treated to a fairly positive ending. However, fans of the sage were sad to see Claire bid farewell to her longtime colleagues to go to the clinic in Guatemala… It must be said that the actress Antonia Thomas, who plays her character, decided to leave the film crew. We remember that love was at the center of the last season. Léa had indeed asked Shaun in marriage, after realizing that she wanted to spend the rest of her life by his side. The American channel ABC has shared the first-ever official poster of the new season of the series. If this one is rather intriguing, it also contains the release date of the new episodes. Fans rest assured, it's imminent.
Season 5 of The Good Doctor will therefore begin next September 27 on ABC. Only a few more days before knowing what becomes of the medical team at San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital.

At the end of season 4, remember, the couple formed by Shaun and Léa were on a little cloud. The young woman had just asked for Shaun's hand, and he had accepted, for our greatest happiness. Especially since the two heroes had just gone through many hardships. The couple's engagement therefore took place on the tarmac of the airport in Guatemala.

Very little information has been released about the direction the new season will take from The Good Doctor. The executive producer and creator of the series David Shore still gave a little in an interview with TVLine.
